Meet Martti, a 42-year-old Finnish man. As a do-it-yourself kind of guy, he loves to solve his everyday challenges by creating new stuff out of scratch. Martti also has a 18-year-old son Antti, who just got his driver’s license and wants to borrow his father’s car to meet up with friends. Understandably Martti is less than keen to give his brand new car to the hands of a teen driver.

Martti came across Thingsee while googling for a tracking solution for teen drivers: he read on an Internet hobbyist forum that someone had built one using Thingsee One. It was all very simple: just buy the device, download the app and configure the notifications. Now Antti could use the car with Thingsee One onboard to track his driving.

Martti also appreciated the fact that he could use Thingsee for other projects, as well; he had always had a tendency to have two or more things going on at the same time. He also likes that he sees the indoor temperature of the car on cold winter mornings.

It's your
new business

Build your application using Thingsee One as hardware. Watch it grow.

Ilkka is an entrepreneur, and by definition he loves to come up with new business plans and ideas. He had a vision of a connected MTB and he worked tirelessly to realize it. He was bootstrapping his startup until he could build a prototype and get proof of his concept.

Ilkka was introduced to Thingsee at a startup event where a working snowmobile service built with Thingsee One got a lot of appraisal for the service capabilities. He immediately realized that he no had his hardware solution with all the needed connectivity and sensors. He could start development right away just by buying the device.

After getting Thingsee One, it took Ilkka only two weeks to develop the first version of the service and now he is building the service with a team and 100K $ funding.

It's your
hardware

Write your own software and use Thingsee One to test and prove your concept.

Marko is a business development executive at a mid-sized IoT platform company that has been working on a solution for real time asset tracking. The biggest challenges have been getting all the time and expertise it takes to build new HW versions, and building prototypes that would actually work. But when Marko saw a presentation of Thingsee at an industry fair he was impressed by the time and money he could save when compared to what HW development typically requires.

He decided that they would start development on Thingsee One, bought 20 of them for the team, and soon they were moving fast with communications protocols, sensor algorithms and service security development. He calculated that Thingsee gave them four extra weeks of development time, and also a high quality platform to continue feature development.
